Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mark Davies has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Reebok Stadium until the summer of 2015.
The 22-year-old, who moved from Wolves to Bolton in January 2009, has made 25 appearances this season, scoring once.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle told the club website: “This shows we are trying to build a club for years to come.
“The nucleus is centred around young, exciting players and Mark certainly comes into that category.”
Davies, who was on loan at Leicester City before moving to Bolton, added: “I’m pleased to have signed the new contract. The club has been good to me in the last two years and I feel settled in the area.
“The manager believes in me and I feel like I’m part of his plans.”
