Spain international Cesc Fabregas looks set to stay at Arsenal for at least one more season after new Barcelona president Sandro Rosell admitted no talks between the two sides over a deal for the Gunners captain were currently taking place.

Barca had a reported Euros 29million bid for Fabregas turned down by the Gunners earlier this summer.

The midfielder, who left the Camp Nou for north London when he was only 16, struggled to oust Xavi and Andres Iniesta from the Spain side at this summer’s World Cup finals.
