The fall season is nearing, and sports betting gets ever more exciting with plenty of matchups and events for all fans. With the season starting this week, fans can begin betting on NFL action, and start to bet on NCAA football as well. As the college and pro football seasons get underway, also available is intense UFC betting for mixed martial arts fans.

The sports scene in North America is shaping up nicely, as it is also getting interesting in England. Premier League Soccer is only a month old, and there are plenty of compelling matches every weekend, including powerhouse Chelsea on the road facing West Ham United.

On paper, the game is a mismatch. But the situations surrounding it all lead to a potential upset. At home seeking their first win of the season, last place West Ham hosts top position Chelsea, a club that has neither lost nor conceded a goal.

Chelsea has three wins on the season, the first two were 6-0 routes against West Bromwich Albion and Wigan Athletic. Their most recent game was yet another blank sheet, beating Stoke City 2-0.

Florent Malouda and Didier Drogba lead the club with four goals apiece, while Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou each have two scores, both earned in the victory over Wigan. The offensive output has been amazing thus far; Chelsea leads the league in goals for with second place Arsenal just behind with nine notches.

The Hammers, meanwhile, have had problems both on and off the pitch. They lost to a strong Aston Villa team on the road 3-0 to open the season, but then fell to Bolton 3-1 at home the next week. Back to the road they lost yet again 3-0 to Manchester United. They have had a tough stretch of schedule to open the season, with Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur to come after Chelsea. The Hammers could very easily be without a point heading into the month of October.

Off the field, Valon Behrami has stated he wished to leave to club and play for Roma for personal issues. That was in the summer, and he has yet said he is committed to his club. Moreover, rumours have been swirling about the security of manager Avram Grant. Co-owner David Sullivan tried to quell the speculation that Grant has mere games left to save his job; a tough task considering the opponents that are up next for the Hammers.

First, however, they host Chelsea and need a great deal of luck and will in order to prevail.

Betting lines: Chelsea is simply too good to falter or be surprised. They already won a road game this year 6-0, and will have no problem playing at Upton Park. The only question is how much they will win by, and if they concede a goal. Chelsea wins big in another high scoring match.
