AC Milan have snapped up the Brazil international Robinho from Manchester City. The deal goes through exactly two years after the player moved to Eastlands for a British record sum of £32.5million from Real Madrid.

City allowed the 26-year-old Brazilian to return home to join Santos during the second half of the last campaign after struggling with injury and a loss of form.

His record for City read 16 goals in 48 starts and five substitute appearances after he had found the net 30 times in 122 games for Real.
